Husnu Dilemre is the acting Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy. Previously he served as the Director General for Agreements, also at the Ministry of Economy. Mr Dilemre was at this appointment since 2009 and prior to this he was the Deputy Permanent Representative of Turkey to the World Trade Organization for four years. He was also the Commercial Attaché for the Consulate General of Turkey in New York between 1996 and 1999. He has a Masters in Economics from Ohio University which he completed in 1991 and in 1985 he received a Masters in Economics from the Middle East Technical University based in Ankara in Turkey.
