Paul Mongillo, serves as vice president, International Business Development for Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business. Headquartered in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, IDS has 33 locations around the world. Its broad portfolio of weapons, sensors and integration systems supports its customer base across multiple mission areas, including air and missile defense systems; missile defense radars; early warning radars; naval ship operating systems; command, control, communications, computers, cyber and intelligence (C5I™) products and services; and other advanced technologies. IDS provides affordable, integrated solutions to a broad international and domestic customer base, including the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, the U.S. Armed Forces and the Department of Homeland Security. In this role, Paul is accountable for customer relationships and business growth across the international IDS portfolio to include Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD); Mission Systems and Sensors (MSS) and Seapower Capability Systems (SCS) business areas. Previously, Mongillo led Turkey Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Programs within Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS). In this role, Paul was accountable as the franchise capture leader to ensure customer success and to achieve business growth for Turkey IAMD programs. Mongillo also served as senior director leading business development for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems franchise capture to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Paul served, prior to this role, as Program Manager for the Patriot Configuration 3 Raytheon Six Sigma is a trademark of Raytheon Company. modernization and upgrade program for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defense. From 2002 – 2006, Mongillo was director, Information Technology, where he provided leading edge information solutions to improve communications, collaboration and computing across IDS Engineering, Mission Innovation and the Surveillance and Sensor Systems business. Mongillo joined Raytheon in 1985 as an Electrical Engineer supporting Systems Integration and Test. He was responsible for delivering integrated test systems and validation capability for domestic production and international depots. As a department manager, Mongillo led the transformation of legacy test systems to a common architecture that enabled reuse across the Raytheon business and extended test and integration services to customer sites internationally. Mongillo is a Certified Raytheon Six Sigma Expert. In this capacity, he continues to lead and coach teams across engineering, operations and program management to produce quantifiable, long lasting business improvements. Mongillo is an active member of the Merrimack College Leadership Council and an advisory board member of the Merrimack College Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department. Mongillo received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Merrimack College and an MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a graduate of the Raytheon’s Program Management College and Strategic Leadership Program. Mongillo is a Raytheon Certified Program Manager and Certified Capture Manager.
